Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for and full ownership of all projects undertaken within team, including ensuring acceptable levels of profitability, timely delivery of components and client satisfaction
- Create estimates and invoices
- Improve processes and identifies new opportunities
- Knowledge management, including sharing and retention
- Maintenance of all internal project documentation
- Keeping good and improving current relationship with clients
- Recruit new team members for translation and localization projects
- Define project scope and requirements
- Communicate status, issues and risks to project stakeholders
- Resolve issues and work through changes/crisis
- Advocate L10n best practice and build relationships with external/internal partners
- Work with other team members on strategies that aim to increase corporate growth
- Provide general office and administrative support as needed
- Work on other, non-translation related projects as needed
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of all aspects of localization including internationalization, development cycles DTP, graphics, translation, testing, Multimedia, translation and workflow tools and process
- At least 1 year of project management experience, preferably from the same industry
- Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Strong computer skills and passion for technology
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Knowledge of a foreign language is a huge plus
