Polar Reversal at European Independent Film Festival - Subtitles by GlobalmePolar Reversal is 3:42 minutes long film produced by Alistair Johnson. In this short, yet very powerful movie Johnson reverses the polarity of Euro/African racism in order to demonstrate his proposed TV/firm projects on race. The move will be presented by the European Independent Film Festival in Paris this coming weekend, in Athens (Ohio) International film festival at the end of April and at Sheffield Doc Fest in June. It has also been picked up for distribution by the central PBS distributor NETA. To address the French audience, Johnson, with help of Globalme, added French subtitles on the video. The 3:42 minute video produced about 500 words in text. Globalme foreign subtitling team generated a timed .srt subtitle file and converted to an xml file for final publishing in Final Cut Pro.
You can view the original version of the film on the IMDb. The film is also available on the Paris festival page - www.ecufilmfestival.com. Go to Film Programme where you will arrive at Festival Genius. Then you can log-in and then watch the film. We wish the best to Alistair with his future productions and looking forward to our future collaboration. |
