Our client is an independent safety science company dedicated to promoting safe living and working environments through innovating safety solutions from electricity to new breakthroughs in sustainability, renewable energy and nanotechnology. Their stamp of approval can be found on almost all electronic devices sold in North America and on many in Europe.

THE CHALLENGE

Our client developed a training program in partnership with an international law enforcement agency to prevent and prepare against counterfeiting operations and cybercrime for organizations and in the private sector. The nature of cybercrime surpasses borders and languages, thus, it was essential that the highly-sensitive training material was available in multiple languages.

Globalme was given the mission of providing continuous support in the localization of their online training material, including supporting collateral, onscreen text, and voice recordings, in five different languages.

OUR APPROACH

Globalme has lots of experience in eLearning localization under our belts, and we quickly got to work. We built a team of translators, QA testers, voice talent, editors and engineers to help us with the entire production and translation of over 200,000 words of content. We had team members situated between our target countries as well as Vancouver, BC, so could work around-the-clock to get the job done quickly and effectively. Our team of experts localized hundreds of hours of content in Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, Spanish, and Portuguese, in just three short months. This included content review, translation, editing, voice recording, engineering, and finally, testing for bug fixes and verification.
