VENDOR TESTIMONIALS

“When we first met the Globalme team, we worked on a massive localization project for a vocal assistant in Italy. It was a challenging but rewarding collaboration with a diverse international workgroup. Since our core business is in cutting-edge tech, we were glad to work together in order to promote the advancement of human-technology interaction.”

  • Serena M

“We worked on voice data collection in Prague, Czech Republic, for the development of a new in-car speech recognition system. As a vendor of Globalme, we had to deliver high-quality audio data from various resources within two months. It was a pleasure working with Globalme, such a great experience and we look forward to doing more work together.”

  • Matej K

“We worked on two projects: speech data collection sessions for a desktop application and another for data collection in cars. The first project involved 600 speakers over 5 weeks, and the second 100 participants in 2 weeks, both took place in Tokyo. It was a joy to work with Globalme on these exciting projects, even with a 16 hour time difference and tight schedule!”

Their diligence and creativity in terms of problem-solving ensured the success of the project. Our continuing relationship with Globalme is a great asset to the company.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Why are you collecting data in different countries? How will it be used?

We collect a lot of data in Vancouver, BC and Portland, OR. However, sometimes we need to collect more data (e.g. speech) or very specific data and then we cooperate with the local vendors in their home countries.

Each data set is used differently, however, by cooperating with Globalme you contribute in powering the latest in personal assistants, home automation devices, wearable technologies and internet of things (IoT) technologies.

  • Is there potential to do more than one project? My company has teams in other countries too

Our philosophy is simple: The reward for work well done is the opportunity to create long lasting relationships with our clients and vendors. After a successful cooperation, we are always willing and excited to partner with our vendors on new challenges. Future collaboration may be dependent on the availability of projects in the region.

  • Have you worked with vendors who are in other countries?

Yes, we have worked with vendors in many countries before. See the list of countries where we have worked with local vendors for field data collection projects.

  • Why are you searching for a local vendor instead of executing the project yourself?

  • Why do I need to use the equipment provided by Globalme instead of my own?

Some of our projects are very specific and can be executed only with the help of specific equipment. We understand that you may have your own preferred equipment available and we are open to discussing whether these can be used for a particular project.

  • What kind of insurance coverage will I need to have for this project?

Our cooperation is dependent on signing a SoW (Statement of Work) and an MSA (Master Service Agreement). Our vendors need to have commercial liability insurance. If you are interested in knowing more details about the limitations and terms of the requested insurance, we are happy to provide more details upon request.
